Daisy is Chief of Staff to Vinod Khosla.
Prior to KV, she was a postdoctoral researcher in aging and AI at Stanford, where she led the largest human proteomics study to decode cellular aging and predict disease, resilience, and longevity. She completed her PhD in Biomedical Data Science at Stanford, building AI models for precision medicine, after transitioning into healthcare from a quantitative background. Daisy studied statistics and economics at the University of Chicago and began her career in quantitative trading at Goldman Sachs before discovering her passion for harnessing technology to improve human health through a formative experience in Andrew Ng’s lab.
Her research has spanned AI and biomedicine, from integrating multimodal data to predict disease trajectories and personalize treatments to tumor-immune modeling for novel drug target identification. Her work has been published in Nature Genetics, Nature Medicine, Nature Cancer, PNAS, NeurIPS, and ICML, with over 8,000 citations.
Daisy graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Chicago and received her PhD in Biomedical Data Science and master’s degree in Computational and Mathematical Engineering from Stanford University, where she was a Stanford Graduate Fellow and Data Science Scholar.
